Martin McKenzie


With over 10 years of Senior Leadership experience, Martin has an extensive background in Finance and Accounting combined with expertise in multiple other fields.

Martin brings both passion and compassion to the work place with an exemplary track record. A strong academic with hands-on experience, he consistently adds value to projects requiring patience,focus and a controlled demeanor, working well in crisis situations.

Martin has worked independently as a consultant on a range of projects in Toronto andthe surrounding area. Recently as an Interim Chief Financial Officerfor the largest Telecommunications sub-dealer in the GTA -Rogers Communications Inc.

Previously employed at Tlicho Investment Corporation as the CFO & Interim COO, Martin handled the year-end audit for 26 operating entities, 6 joint ventures, acquisition due diligence, a business valuation and share purchase buy-out negotiation while spearheading major operating issues including negotiating a mutual termination agreement for a mining remediation.

At Trans Union of Canada, Inc. as Controller/CFO, as a respected business partner on the Senior Leadership Team, he participated on special interest groups for the formulation of Strategy, Enterprise Resource Planning, Outsourcing, System Development, Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity Planning and Pandemic Preparedness.

Martin has held various Board of Director positions including; Chairman of the Board, CGA Hamilton Chapter, participated at the provincial level onAudit Committee, Finance Committee for Casey Housein Toronto, and most recently was advisory for Bright Futures of Burkina Faso.

Martin holds a Bachelor of Accounting Science from the University of Calgary, Masters of Business Administration from Laurentian University, and is a Chartered Professional Accountant and Certified General Accountant.
